I first met the creator of the MELT Method, Sue Hitzmann, in Marin, CA in 2010.  I was immediately struck by Sue's passion, beauty, dynamic energy and intelligence.  After that first class, I was hooked.  All the information I absorbed about connective tissue in that short hour and half made a big impact on my own imbalances.  Connective tissue is everywhere, from your skin to your bones, in and around every muscle, joint, and organ.  It's a three-dimensional support system that keeps everything in your body stable, balanced, and connected.  It keeps your skin toned, your muscles balanced, it gives your joints shock absorption, and keeps your organs suspended properly so they function efficiently.  It's an important resource that's unaddressed by diet and exercise.  That's why so many people who are leading healthy lives, people who do all the right things -- from eating right to engaging in exercise -- still suffer from chronic pain.

Adding ten minutes of MELT daily can bring relief from stuck stress.  Regularly MELTing can reduce or eliminate chronic pain and has many other benefits.  It can help maintain a healthy body system.  I no longer wake up at night to go to the bathroom.  I do not experience hormone imbalances.  My digestion has improved.  My body has become more efficient and stable when I exercise.  I now know how to erase the common aches and pains that used to accumulate on a daily basis in my body.  When I sleep, my body is balanced enough to rest and heal.

For me, the best part of the MELT Method is that it is self care.  True healing comes from the inside.  The MELT Method allows me to take my health into my own hands.

By focusing on what’s staying stable rather than the movement, we reopen the neurological potential for stabilization.
